PROJECT DETAILS
At the internationally awarded H.C. Ørsted high school campus, exterior lighting was an extension of the architectural design. The Peak 380 post top plays a central role in the design vision, providing safety and orientation in parking areas and outdoor spaces that extend beyond the building’s façade.
With its clean lines and biophilic form, Peak 380 creates a natural transition between the sculptural architecture and the surrounding landscape. Rather than competing with the façade, it blends into the environment while enhancing safety and comfort after dark. This balance of performance and architectural design makes Peak not just a wayfinding tool, but a unifying design element across the campus.
Mounted in parking areas and along pedestrian paths along the campus perimeter, Peak serves as an intuitive wayfinding element, guiding people seamlessly across the campus. Its biophilic form complements the architectural expression, creating a sense of continuity between the sculptural building and the surrounding landscape. Closer to the façade, the Turn Spot can be seen providing uniform 360° illumination with three light heads on a single pole.
Peak reinforces the campus’s identity as a place where technology, science, and architecture come together.
