PROJECT DETAILS
A New Light Enhancing the Elegance of Corinthia Bucharest
For the relighting of the Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard in Bucharest, Linea Light Group contributed to the nighttime enhancement of one of the city’s most iconic historic buildings through an integrated lighting system designed by Visual Energy Associates to highlight its architectural language and the richness of its decorative details. The project combines different lighting solutions working in synergy to create a harmonious and coherent perception of the façade. The linear Xenia system, equipped with wall grazing optics, accompanies the architectural surfaces with uniform and controlled grazing light, capable of revealing textures, moldings, and details without initial flare or lighting discontinuities. Completing the intervention, the Periskop Q floodlights and Orma in-ground fixtures help shape the building’s volumes and emphasize its most significant architectural elements, creating depth, visual hierarchy, and a balanced dialogue between light and material. The result is an elegant and understated lighting composition, in which each fixture plays a specific role in enhancing the historic identity of the Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard, strengthening its urban presence and offering a new visual experience of the architecture during the evening hours.
Where Light Meets Hospitality
Beyond the façade lighting, Linea Light Group solutions help define the refined atmosphere and visual comfort of the hotel’s interiors. In the guest rooms and executive meeting rooms the lighting design by Visual Energy Associates combines high performance with discreet architectural integration.
The Vos downlights provide precise and comfortable general lighting, ensuring excellent light quality and seamless integration into the ceilings. Completing the project, the LED strips installed within the perimeter cove lighting generate a soft and uniform indirect light that enhances the architectural volumes and helps create a welcoming and elegant atmosphere.
The coordinated use of these solutions enables the development of a coherent lighting language throughout the Corinthia Grand Hotel du Boulevard in Bucharest, strengthening its identity and enhancing the guest experience.
